Make a list and check it twice.
No, we are not talking about the Santa list.
But yes, we are encouraging you to be like Santa.
According to the song, he is “making a list and checking it twice, he is going to find out who’s naughty or nice…”
Even though this sounds very basic, it can be said that Santa is a good planner.
He plans out what he has to do so he doesn’t make any mistakes on his job.
You should have a list too.
Whether it’s buying gifts for friends, family and coworkers, or having a list of projects that need to be wrapped up before the New Year, a checklist makes everyone more productive.
Don’t you want to experience the joy of checking off the last item/project off a checklist?
Stick to a healthy routine
One of the peculiar things about the holidays is FOOD.
Food is everywhere. Drinks as well.
We all know the holidays to be a time when the normal routine and fitfam practices of the year fly out of the window.
I mean, it is basically time to relax, unwind and have fun.
In the weirdly long month of January, we always find ourselves looking back on the choices we made in December, and some of us almost always have regrets.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying you shouldn’t enjoy yourself, but sticking to your regular exercise routine and controlling portion size over the holidays will allow you to keep fit and you can hit the ground running when you need to go back into work mode.
You don’t want to hit the ground running in the wrong direction in the coming year, do you?
