There has been a lot of buzz on our feed recently talking about age discrimination in the recruitment process adopted by some organizations in Nigeria and apparently not in Nigeria alone.
According to a recent AARP study, nearly two out of three workers age 45 and older say they have experienced age discrimination. Another study conducted by the San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank showed that callback rates about jobs were lower for older applicants.
As inspired by an analysis from Adora Ikwuemesi, we went further into research to see how we can educate older workers on how they can easily evade the issue of ageism in interviews.
